WHAT IS EMOTION:
Emotion is the unique thing we possess as human beings. But unfortunately, we are trained to suppress it. We all are used to listening to people who there is a good or bad emotion. But actually, there is no such kind of thing that exist. Emotion is just our true feelings and we don’t have to control it, we need to balance the expression of it through behaviour. There is good behaviour and bad behaviour in people which exist.
IMPORTANCE OF MUSIC,DANCE AND MEDITATION OVER EMOTION:
Music is the best way to find our emotion and dance is the best way to release it. Music triggers our memory and it triggers our emotions which we can express through dance. When emotion is not expressed properly it will affect our behavior and unknowingly we create wrong thought processes about others, and the environment and behave accordingly.
It is necessary to express our emotions to generate a proper thought process and manifest life to its fullest.
Music, dance, and meditation is the best way to maintain our emotional wellness.
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sound and meaning of words.
INFANT AND MUSIC:
Infants recognize the melody of a song long before they understand the word. Quite background music can be soothing for infants, especially during sleep time.
TODDLER AND MUSIC:
Toddlers love to dance and move to the music. The key to toddler music is repetition, which encourage language and memorization.
PRESCHOOL AND MUSIC:
Preschoolers enjoy singing just to be singing. They like songs that repeat words and melodies. Use rhythm with a definite beat. They love to use music with toys, like fingerplays and rhymes with or without musical accompaniment.
SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN AND MUSIC:
School-age children begin expressing their likes and dislikes and different types of music. They may express an interest in music education, such as music lessons for kids.
Music is always great for brain development and mind-body-soul coordination.
Dance :
When music is accompanied with dance, they can explore and control their body movement also. Dance is an effective type of exercise that raises your heart rate and works your muscles. Exercise can help with symptoms of depression and anxiety by releasing certain chemicals in your brain. It also provides a way to escape repetitive negative thoughts and worries.
Meditation:
Meditation helps parents to be conscious, mindful, and stress-free. Taking deep breaths and sitting quietly is a great way to start meditation with kids.
